I absolutely
love November as this is the month each year that I bring out all of my
outdoor Christmas décor. Our family gathers together for a couple of
hours of pure holiday joy as we assemble each Christmas decoration,
placing it securely in its place for the next couple of months. After
we put the last reindeer in place, we wait for dark when we can really
see the fruits of our labor. Okay, maybe it's not that hard
decorating, but we have so many outdoor Christmas decorations that it
does take a lot of effort. It seems every year we add a piece or two so
our collection is growing. But we love Christmas yard décor so the
effort is totally worth it. Then
a few nights per week until Christmas, we hop in the car and drive
local neighborhoods to see others decorations for Christmas. It is fun
for the kids, and a creative way to enjoy the holiday without spending
any money. Well, maybe just a little money - our trips usually involve a
stop at Dairy Queen for a Blizzard! |
